I am truly blessed to introduce you to your WPPi Chick Member of the week Deanna Albrecht, you will enjoy getting to know her and all that God has done and continues to do in her life.  We are absolutely thrilled that she is a member of Women of Passionate Purpose!

My passionate purpose is to show others that a relationship with God can change their lives. This passion came out of the messiness of my life at 30 years old. I had been searching for my purpose in relationships and things, and I was always left feeling sad, disappointed and wanting so much more.

I came to a turning point in my life when I was extremely confused. I was on the edge of making a huge decision that would change me and my children’s life. I felt like my life was spinning out of control. Before making this life-changing decision, I stopped. I took one huge breath. Then, I did something that felt even crazier to me. I got on my knees. And I prayed. For days. Until He answered me.

And He sure did! 

He showed me that my problem wasn’t the decision I wanted to make. My problem was I didn’t have a relationship with Him.  BOOM!  This new twist hit me hard. I knew it was true. I walked back into relationship with Him. And my life has never been the same.  

I’m inspired by truth, relationships, possibilities and above all, God.

So many young women are in the place that I was in. They don’t realize that what they are really looking for is a relationship with God. When I share my story about, living with my boyfriend for years, what it did to my children, how God rocked my life, how my boyfriend and I became abstinent while living together, and how God restored my relationships and dead dreams, they tell me that’s their story too. They never wanted this story for their life. I show them how a relationship with God is where change really starts.  

Because God has renewed my dreams and given me true purpose – I write, sometimes speak and always dream big!

I went back to college and received a degree in communication. I’ve worked in a healthy relationship program for teens, I’ve started writing a book, and I’m working on two-start ups (a social media and pr agency for non-profits & an online mentoring website). I believe every day is another day to live out my purpose.

I’m excited to be a part of Women of Passionate Purpose. It’s inspiring to be a part a community of women who desire to live out God’s purpose for their lives. They are gifted and passionate women. I love that Kathryn has filled it with great resources to equip and encourage us.

Nehemiah 8:10 … Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!”

You know life with all its up and downs can slowly begin to deplete our energy.  And before you know it you are drained, exhausted and too tired to do anything.  Keeping up with 4 kids and building a ministry, my energy reserves get low sometimes at lightening speed.  How does a girl get her power back?  The secret is to plug into Solar Power.  The weaker I get the stronger I become knowing that His grace is sufficient for me. His power works best in our weakness. 

Our Father is rich in mercy and God loves you more than you can imagine!  He has no greater joy than knowing that you are following truth.  Truth you ask…. The truth of who you are and who He is.  You are His masterpiece and He is the great artisan designer of you.  He made you fearfully and wonderful.  God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins.  Find your strength in this.  This is His joy!  Knowing He is your provider and protector and that you are more than a conquer, Remember you are royal!

And to all Mom’s as we celebrate Mother’s Day!

Another year to celebrate Mother’s Day!  Just love it!   This year is the year that BOTH of my daughters are Mommy’s!

I think about the years that have gone by, how my mom’s (my mother & my mother-in-law) helped me raise our girls… I praise God for you both and I love you so much. Each of you are so different from one another and have brought so much to my life in the most beautiful and creative ways! I thank God for you both!  I just had to go and gather some memories of you with our daughters.  I love you so much!

Our beautiful daughters are so close to each other; they are the best of friends.  I admire them and how they love God and so do their husbands.  I stand in a place of awe as I watch them both grow into their Mommy roles.  They were our little girls for so long.  

Many times I still feel that way, and then I watch them with their own children and realize they are GROWN WOMEN! Where did all the years go?

I think about how they are turning out to be absolutely amazing mommies.  They send me videos and pictures of their precious son’s and cause me to weep with joy in one moment and then in the next moment I am giggling – and still other times they have my rolling with laughter at the silly antics! I love getting videos of my grandsons! I love seeing my sons-in-law be amazing Dad’s too! 

Evolution, Growth, Change, Precious moments, Miraculous and Majestic Moments… These moments define us and cause us to see God in the many moments of our lives, He is amazing!

As evolve from girls, to women, to mother’s, to grandmother’s, to great grandmother’s we witness so much over the course of our journeys. Some of these moments are exhilarating as we face our fears and overcome, as watch and celebrate the accomplishments of our loved ones, experience death, pain, suffering, love, struggle… All the ebbs and flows of the hallowed seasons of our lives – these are the very things that shape us into the woman we have become.  All along the journey God is there. Always.  Reminding us that life is not to be simply endured but to be filled color, graced with forgiveness; enjoyed, embraced and filled with all kinds of extreme, crazy love!

May your mother's day be filled and overflowing with the knowledge that you are loved by God!

Listen to Gail regarding her passion and her purpose… The passion that drives my inner soul is to find creative and inspirational ways to help others make a difference in their lives and the world around us and through my life experiences as a teacher, mother, clergy spouse, and friend I have always felt the spirit moving within me to follow God’s calling.

My biggest inspirations have been my children.  They inspire my creativity and resourcefulness as they grow into fine young men. I have also felt blessed by those who I have met along my life’s journey and through these encounters and experiences they too have enriched my life and career.

The passion that ignites the fire in me comes through in my professional career as well as a Special Education teacher and Organizational Development and Life Coach.

I have enjoyed being a WPPi Chick Member through Women of Passionate Purpose because I have found it to be a creative and inspirational place where women can share their passion, faith, and inner thoughts while igniting others along the way.  The energy that flows within WPPi keeps my (our) Dreams alive and spirit filled.

I've done a study thru Scripture on the word "doors" God has revealed much to me thru this study. I am taking pictures, collecting pictures of doors; they are very symbolic to me. I love all that God is doing through the great doors He has opened for me and for you! I love the effective work He has given me to do! I love hearing about the work, passions, callings that He has caused to rise up within your heart!  Oh the passion of this… thrills me and ignites my soul in such a way that I don’t really find the words to express… I pray that this section of my doors opens your Spirit to the amazing gifts of God, that you are moved in the deepest parts of your soul as you contemplate all the doors He opens!

Soak in this quote written by Martha…  I feel the depth of it in the core of my being… My knower knows this to be true. Do you feel it too?  Psalm 139 reveals to us that we have been uniquely formed and fashioned… We have been gifted with something within ourselves that nobody else has, gifted with particular desires, dreams, joys, imaginings, passions and paths that take us in so many different directions! Each of these things lead us through various doorways that lead us to the next place on our journey.  What doors are you hoping to walk through?

Remember this is only one heart like yours, only one of you… forever and ever and ever.
What is inside your heart?
What pieces of your heart have been covered up that you are now ready to begin opening up?

Each of us has our own dreams, purpose and callings. All of us have our own special doors to walk through.
